The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery
BAMS is most commonly an acronym for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, a 5.5-year undergraduate medical degree program in India that combines traditional Indian Ayurvedic practices with modern medicine. It can also refer to a Budget Allocation & Monitoring System used in some Indian states for financial management, and less commonly, to other terms like the British Art Medal Society or the Bulletin of the American Mathematical Society.
